Career Advancement Programme

The dream of the Karnataka Region Catholic Bishops’ Council to bring probity in public life gave birth to the Career Advancement Program (CAP) with the sole aim of motivating the rural/urban Catholic Youth with poor economic background to take up coaching for KPSC and UPSC exams so that these candidates passing out would be gainfully employed. These candidates who gain a foothold in government service could own responsibility to bring in transparency as the Catholic Youth are imparted Christian Values, be a part of policy making body and provide social justice to the marginalized and deprived section of the society and work for the development of the people.

From the year 2017-18 academic year onwards, it has been decided that Catholic candidates opting for joining a recognized institute imparting coaching in Civil Service would be provided some financial assistance which would be decided on case to case basis.

The Catholic students who wish to take up KPSC & UPSC to promote their career options may contact Rev. Fr. Sebastian Fernandes, Director, KROSS or Mr. G. M. Varghese, Project Officer for further details.
