Feb 11: KROSS In collaboration with Caritas- India has handed over 425 houses to the victims of Flood in Karnataka. In the event of flood, KROSS along with it's partner organisation has rendered emergency and relief services to more than 17,000 affected people in various parts of the state. In collaboration with the community, Caritas-India, Miseror- Germany, Manos Unidas it is in the process of constucting 275 more houses. The houses are designed keeping the regional culture, weather conditions and the needs of the community.

In its mission of social transformation, KROSS aims at preparing committed community leaders, volunteers, and trainers who will further mobilize and train volunteers and leaders from marginalized and backward communities to become aware of their basic rights and become agents of social change.

In this context KROSS has constructed a well-equipped Training cum Resource center which will be accessible to various Development Workers and Stakeholders in the development sector such as Faith Based and like minded Organizations. Educational Institutions; Students, Lecturers, Lawyers, Media Advocates, Journalists, Government Officials, Social / Environmental Activists from NGOs, Community Based Organizations, Voluntary Organizations, Issue Based Networks, Cultural Activists who are engaged in the process of social transformation.

The Center can accommodate up to 75 participants at a time. Two halls are well furnished and are equipped with gadgets necessary for the Trainings / Meetings. .
