The KROSS Governing Board Meeting was held at KROSS Resource cum Training Centre, Bengaluru on 12th February 2020 with a prayer led by Fr. Yagappa, Director, BDDS, Ballari.

Most. Rev. Dr. Gerald Lobo, Bishop of Udupi & President, KROSS welcomed Fr. Jolly, Assistant Executive Director, Caritas-India, Mr. Robert D’souza, State Officer, Caritas-India, Fr. Faustine Lobo, Coordinator-KRPPIC, the Diocesan Social Work Directors, Director-KROSS and Team. He said that we have to put in all efforts to help the vulnerable sections of the society.

He then requested the Secretary/Treasurer/Director, KROSS to present the minutes of the previous meeting. Fr. Sebastian Fernandes, Secretary/Treasurer/Director, KROSS presented the minutes of the previous Governing Board Meeting which was held on 14.11.2019. The house after a brief deliberation, unanimously accepted the minutes which was then proposed to be passed by Fr. Clifford Roshan Pinto, Director-SMSSS, Shivamogga and seconded by Fr. Abraham, Director-MSSS, Bhadravathi.

The Program Manager/Officers presented report of the program supported and facilitated by KROSS and implemented by the 14 Diocesan Social Work Societies in the State of Karnataka. The reports were appreciated, discussed and the suggestions provided were accepted .

Fr. Jolly, Assistant Executive Director, Caritas-India remarked that he was attending the KROSS Governing Board Meeting for the 1st time and said that KROSS was a key trust worthy and friendly partner and Caritas India had a cordial relationship with KROSS and the 14 Diocesan Social Service Partners.

The President ended the meeting by thanking each and every one and in turn the Director-KROSS thanked the President for his presence and valuable contribution. The meeting concluded with a short prayer.
