KROSS is a non-profit, secular and non-political organization established in 1983. It was registered under the Karnataka Societies Registration Act, 1960, in 1989.

KROSS is registered under 12A and has 80G Tax exemption under Income Tax Act 1961. KROSS is also registered under Ministry of Home Affairs under Foreign Contribution Regulation Act.

KROSS with its 11 member organizations renders various kinds of services among more than 6, 50,000 poor people in more than 3,500 villages of Karnataka and to many others Indirectly without discriminating on the basis of caste, creed and race.

Our vision is to build a society based on the values of justice, peace and development.

Our mission is to empower the poor and the marginalized and restore to them their lost human dignity.

Our Goal is To actively participate in achieving the UNs Millennium Development Goals in partnership with member-organisations, sponsors, Government, other like-minded NGOs, institutions and individuals. Our Staff Our team comprises 152 employees, including 12 office staff and 140 field staff.
