Sr. Nancy Lobo,the Women Empowerment Program 2023

On December 1 st and 2 nd , 2023, Sr. Nancy Lobo, the Women Empowerment Program Coordinator from KROSS, visited the Women Empowerment field area at CODP, Mangalore. She had engaged with four grassroots federations, the District Level Federation, and participated in four income- generation activities involving women. The women actively participated in the interaction with the program coordinator and expressed how Women Empowerment Program has positively impacted their lives. The Women Empowerment Program (WEP) has played a pivotal role in developing their self-confidence, enhancing their abilities and capacities. As a result, they are now capable of independently pursuing various tasks and advocating for their rights, enabling them to access government benefits more effectively.
