Program Coordinator Mrs. Laina Lasrado 2023

The Women Empowerment Program Coordinator Mrs. Laina Lasrado (WEP) from KROSS visited the WEP field area in JVSSS, Mandya on 6th and 7th December 2023. She interacted with four grass root federations, one Taluk Level Federation, and four income generation activities involving women. The women expressed great satisfaction with the Women Empowerment Program, stating that it has helped them develop confidence and advocate for their rights and duties. The women have actively fought against child marriages occurring in the village and addressed other essential needs such as drainage, drinking water, and roads. They are grateful to the organization for implementing the Women Empowerment Program, acknowledging its positive impact on their lives.
