Platinum Jubilee Celebration of Caritas
The Platinum Jubilee Celebration of Caritas was celebrated at Karnataka Regional level at Sannidi, the Diocesan Pastoral Centre, Shimoga on 10th December 2022. The program included exhibition of models created under Ujjivana program, which involves the promotion of organic farming and traditional healthy food culture.

The guest of honour Mr. Gangadar, coordinator of farmer's association in South India spoke on making agriculture profitable. He also said that the agriculture is our culture, it gives employment and food security. We need to learn the skills of making it for society.

Dr Danajay Sarjee, the Chairperson of Sarjee Hospitals, Shimoga insisted on service to humanity. This service gives satisfaction in life. The Director of Caritas India insisted on building peace for development, no peace in the society no development possible.

The president of the day, Rt. rev. Francis Serrao s.j. appreciated 60 years of yeomen service of Caritas Organization to humanity. He blessed that the joyful service may continue as ever.
