Safety for everyone safeguarding policy

The National Level launch of SAFE - Safety for everyone safeguarding policy began at 3 pm with a prayer by Ms. Meena. Fr.Jolly Asst. Director Caritas India, proposed the welcome address. Fr.Paul Moonjely Executive Director Caritas India briefed about the project SAFE and explained the SAD principle, which is Safety Access and Dignity. Safety and Dignity is the right of the community and thrust of Caritas India. Later Mr. Senthil CEO CRS, emphasized on the importance of ensuring and safeguarding the policies for all the NGOs and described on being proactive rather than reactive. Mr. Kushal acquainted us regarding safeguarding standards and its components such as 4 R's and I that is Recruitment, Reporting, Referral, Retaliation - (non) And Investigation. The meeting concluded by vote of thanks by Mr.Shimre.
