KROSS ANNUAL GENERAL BODY MEETING 27Th APRIL 2021

The Annual General Body Meeting of Karnataka Regional Organization for Social Service (KROSS) was held at The Shimoga Multipurpose Social Service Society, Shivamogga on 27th April 2021.

The meeting commenced with an introductory remark by Bishop Francis Serrao SJ, President-KROSS and prayer led by Fr. Yagappa, Director-BDDS, Ballari.

Bishop Gerald Lobo, former President and presently Vice-President, KROSS welcomed the President and thanked him for hosting the meeting in SMSSS. He also welcomed the board members present and asked them to deliberate and provide their suggestions to make our programs fruitful.

Fr. Sebastian Fernandes, Director-KROSS read the minutes of the previous meeting which were unanimously accepted and proposed to be passed by Fr. Reginald Pinto, Director-Sampada and seconded by Fr. Yagappa, Director-BDDS.

The Program Manager/Project Officers presented their reports which were appreciated and provided with suggestions for better implementation of the programs.

The Annual Accounts for the year 2020-2021 was presented by the Finance Manager which were deliberated and unanimously accepted and proposed to be passed by Fr. Binoy A. J., Director-DKRDS and seconded by Fr. Shanthraj, Director-CMSSS. An unanimous resolution was passed to continue with the service of M/s Phillipos & Co. as Auditors for the financial year 2021-22.

Bishop Francis Serrao SJ, released the KROSS Annual Report 2020-2021 and Bishop Gerald Lobo released the Regional Perspective Plan 2020-2025.

Fr. Sebastian Fernandes handed over the documents of KROSS to the incoming Director, Fr. Richard Pais.

This was followed with a small program to bid farewell to Fr. Sebastian Fernandes who was relinquishing his term of office.

Bishop Francis Serrao SJ, thanked the donors, supporters, board members and everyone present for their support, encouragement and guidance.

The meeting ended at 01.30 p.m. with a concluding prayer.
