ORGANIZATION DEVELOPMENT TRAINING ON COMMUNICATION & FACILITATION SKILLS

A workshop under Organizational Development was conducted for the improvement of the Communication & Facilitation Skills of the Staff of the Diocesan Social Service Societies on 23rd, 24th and 25th October 2018 at KROSS Resource Centre, Bengaluru in which 40 staff members participated.

In his keynote address, Rev. Fr. Sebastian Fernandes, Director, KROSS stressed on the importance of both these topics as he said that since we as have to interact with the people at all levels our communication has to be comprehensible so that we are able to effectively put forth our views, build rapport and convince the concerned. Also as we have been Trainers all along, we have now to shift towards facilitation so that we are able to bring out the knowledge gained by the participants over the years and guide them to be trainers themselves.

The Resource Person, Ms Coni Poornima Alva, Director, I Create Vishwas Karnataka made the three days sessions interactive by way of group activities, role plays, mock training sessions and methods of communication.
