WORKSHOP ON FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT

A day’s Workshop on 30th October 2018 was organized at KROSS Resource Centre, Bangalore to have clarity on Income Tax / Direct Tax Code / Foreign Contribution Regulation Act / Accounting procedure to be followed as per the statutory requirements and latest guidelines of Ministry of Finance & Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India for specially those receiving foreign contribution. The Workshop was facilitated by Fr. Eugene Lobo and Team who provided the answers to the queries of the participants and remarked that we have to be transparent, responsible and accountable in our dealings. The Team stressed on the need of the Educational Institutes to meet all the statutory requirements and comply with the Right to Education Act.

The Workshop was attended by the Accountants of the DSSSs, Faith based Organization, Educational Institutions, Procurators, Bursars and various participants from Non-profit Organizations from the state of Karnataka.

The Workshop was inaugurated by Fr. Sebastian Fernandes, Director, KROSS by lighting a lamp, Fr. Eugene Lobo, Regional Secretary, KRCE welcomed the gathering, Mr. Clement Fernandes, Manager-Program Support moderated the day’s proceedings.
