KROSS GOVERNING BOARD MEETING

The last Governing Board Meeting for the year 2018 of Karnataka Regional Organization for Social Service (KROSS) was held on 21st November 2018 at KROSS Resource Centre, Bengaluru.

The Meeting commenced with a Hymn and Prayer led by Fr. Leo Edayadiel, Director, JVSSS, Mandya.

The President, KROSS, Dr. Gerald Lobo, Bishop of Udupi welcomed the Vice- President, KROSS, Dr. K. A. William, Bishop of Mysuru, the Diocesan Social Work Directors, Board Members, Special Invitees and the KROSS Team. The Members were requested to actively participate and give their comments and suggestions for the better implementation of the program.

The Director, KROSS presented the Minutes of the previous Meeting which were deliberated and the house unanimously accepted the minutes which were then proposed to be passed by Fr. Clifford Roshan Pinto, Director, SMSSS and seconded by Fr. Chourappa Yeraboi, Director, BDDS.

The Manager, Program Support/Project Officers of KROSS then presented the report of the programmes implemented by KROSS and its 14 Partners – the Diocesan Social Work Societies in the State of Karnataka. The Members while appreciating the reports presented also gave some useful hints and suggestions which were accepted.

This was then followed by an input session on motivating and guiding the students to take up KPSC/UPSC exams facilitated by Dr. Roland Anil Fernandes, Member, Karnataka Public Service Commission.

The President then thanked the Vice-President, all the Members for their presence, active participation and suggestions. He also thanked the Director, KROSS & Team for their efforts.

The Director, KROSS thanked the Bishop for his valuable contribution and suggestions. He also thanked all the Diocesan Social Work Directors, their Staff and the KROSS Team.
