Karwar Diocesan Development Council (KDDC) is an official organization of the Catholic Diocese of Karwar to carry out the socio-economic development of the people of Uttar Kannada District irrespective of caste, creed or community. It was registered under Karnataka Societies Registration Act of 1960 on 2nd February 1978 and under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) to restore human dignity of the poor and the marginalized. 

Vision: A society of justice, peace and love living in harmony with nature.

Mission:Restoring dignity of the poor and the marginalized and nature through rights based Approach and promotion of eco-friendly practices.

Goal: To establish a society of accessibility and sustainability.
