Kross Governing Board Meeting - 28th February, 2018

The KROSS Governing Board Meeting was held on 28th February 2018 at KROSS Resource Centre, Bengaluru. The meeting commenced with a prayer lead by Rev. Fr. Reginald Pinto, Director, Sampada, Udupi.

Rev. Fr. Sebastian Fernandes, Director, KROSS welcomed Most Rev. Dr. K. A. William, Bishop of Mysuru and Vice-President, KROSS who was attending the Governing Board Meeting for the first time after taking over as Vice President of KROSS. He also welcomed all the Diocesan Social Work Directors, other Board Members, Special Invitees and the Staff of KROSS.

The Board Members took this opportunity to wish the Bishop on completion of one year of his Episcopal Ordination, Silver Jubilee of his Priesthood and his Birthday.

The Bishop thanked each and every one and welcomed all and asked the members to actively participate, deliberate and give their suggestions for better implementation of the programs. He reminded everyone that God is continually blessing us.

The Director/Secretary, KROSS read the minutes of the previous meeting which were deliberated upon and proposed to be passed by Re. Fr. Santhosh Bapu, Director, SSDS, Kalburgi and seconded by Re. Fr. Jose Ayumkudy, Director, DKRDS, Belthangady.

The Program Manager/Project Officers of KROSS then presented the report of the programs being implemented by KROSS through its 14 Diocesan Partners throughout the state of Karnataka. The suggestions and feedback given by the Members were accepted

The Vice President then expressed his appreciation to the Director and Staff KROSS and also complimented the Diocesan Social Work Directors and said that the Ministry that we have undertaken reached to the least of the brethren in the society.

Rev. Fr. Chowrappps, Director, BDDS, Ballari proposed the vote of thanks and expressed his gratitude to the Vice President for his suggestions and also thanked all the Diocesan Social Work Director, Board Members and the Director and Staff, KROSS.
