A two days' Training on Personality Development was organized at KROSS Resource Centre, Bengaluru on 19th and 20th June 2018 in which 67 participants from all over Karnataka State participated.

Mr. G. M. Varghese, Program Officer, KROSS welcomed the participants and introduced Ms Connie Alva, Resource Person for the training.

Fr. Sebastian Fernandes addressing the participants said that we hear the term Personality Development from books, our institutions and our colleagues which indicates that this term is important in one’s life. Each and every one of you have to be a Leader which is possible by analysing your strength & weakness, being positive, meeting new people, reading, being a good listener & striking up interesting conversation, being courteous, working on your body language and above all being confident.

Ms Connie Alva, the Resource Person conducted the training by making them firstly aware of the traits they have to develop to be a Leader followed with interactive session, debates, storytelling and games which brought out their qualities which they themselves were not aware.

The participants expressed that the training was very useful and fruitful and assured that they would be conducting such trainings at grassroots level so that the rural community develops leadership qualities.

The sessions were moderated by Ms Apurva Tandel, Coordinator, KROSS, Bangalore and the vote of thanks was proposed by Mr. Ramesh, BMSSS, Bengaluru.
