Workshop On Organization Development: System Building

A Workshop on Organizational Development Process – System Building was conducted at KROSS Resource Centre from 22nd to 24th May 2018 which was attended by 32 participants from all over the state of Karnataka.

The workshop began with a prayer followed by welcome address by Mr. G. M. Varghese, Project Officer, KROSS.

The need of the workshop and its relevance was highlighted as proper systems and structures were needed for effective functioning, bringing in positive change relevance and credibility to the organization besides building mutual trust and respect among the staff and organization said Rev. Fr. Sebastian Fernandes, Director, KROSS in his keynote address.

Mr. Pramod Shet, Retd. Master Trainer, APF, Bengaluru who facilitated the Workshop elucidated the need of Organization Development Process as it not only creates an enabling atmosphere to bring in the needed change but helps in taking remedial measures to improve the health of the organization. He explained that the organizations have to be adoptive, i.e., should have both willingness and ability to change.

It was an interactive participatory sessions as the DSSSs had to present their mode of functioning in respect to the norms and conditions as stipulated and mandated by the Authorities and confirming to all legal compliances.

The workshop ended with a vote of thanks by Mr. Saver Fernandes, KDDC, Karwar.
